aiI am the wife of Serhiy

Kornienko, a junior sergeant of

the 10th OGSHB Edelweiss.

aiMy beloved volunteered to

defend Ukraine in 2015. Died

on June 10, 2022.

We used to dream how our

whole family would gather

in our house on the bank

of a river or a lake. But this

will remain just a dream,

forever.

aiHe was 47 years old.

aiWe lived together for 27

years.

aiWe have two sons, of whom

he was very proud, a

granddaughter whom he loved

very much and called nothing

but my Princess... We had

many plans for life, and

dreams that were not allowed

to come true. My painting is

about one.

aiWe talked about how we

would love a house on the

bank of a river or a lake near

the forest — away from the

city, where there is silence

and peace. We imagined how

the whole family would gather

there. We dreamed of

babysitting our

grandchildren... Dreamed of

planting a garden... Now

everything remains only in

dreams...
