aiPasha and I met in October 2020 in his "place of strength" - on a yacht. Our common friend introduced us. We developed an easy and relaxed connection right away. A week later we started living together. And a month later we decided to get married. WE as a family happened even before we registered our relationship.
aiMarried life without a doubt could be called ideal. There was love, lots of laughter, peace and comfort. There were many conversations and lots of get-togethers with relatives and friends. When Pasha and I started planning for a family, we were excited about having continuity with a child. Unfortunately, COVID19 ruined our plans - I had a miscarriage early in the pregnancy.
On February 26 Pasha went to serve. On April 10 he got shrapnel in the neck.
aiWhen Russia began their full-scale invasion of Ukraine we were prepared. In December 2021, instead of renovating our apartment, WE decided to buy things a soldier needs for war.
aiFebruary 24, 2022: Pasha was ready. He took care of all his affairs at work and at home. He became a blood donor, I did the same. And on the morning of February 26, 2022, Pasha went to serve. He was assigned to the 25th Assault Brigade. Soon after, on April 10, 2022, my Pavlo Ivashkevich, junior sergeant, died from a shrapnel wound in the neck in the Donetsk direction.
aiHe was posthumously awarded a medal for military service to Ukraine.
aiAbout my painting "Past, Future Today" - I saw the original three years ago in the Aquarel store in Dnipro. This painting touched strings in my soul. I wanted to buy it right away and hang it up at home, but it wasn't for sale. That definitely made me sad. So, I decided to recreate the piece, and in the process of drawing, this girl turned into my self-portrait.
