About

Imagine a city that has been an object for daily bombing for almost three years of war... Once it was a city with a population of over a million people, and now it looks at you with the empty eyes of its windows. It envelops you in impenetrable darkness as dusk falls and almost every night it sings to you the lullaby of air raid sirens and explosions.
A ghost town, you might think... But it’s not!
The remaining citizens feed the blood of this city with their thirst for life: on the walls of the shattered houses, as a defy to the neighboring country of barbarians, bright birds and plants appear... In place of glass windows broken by explosions, we can see red poppies which remind society: "Never again"...
Somewhere in the area of the city, saboteurs set fire to a forest - in response, painted trees appear on shop windows.
The youth of this city, born in a free country, already knows that tomorrow may not happen, and they are in a hurry to leave traces of themselves in their works: even if their canvas is disfigured walls and empty windows boarded up with wood...
Never before I have seen so much thirst for life in my city, a thirst that, under the threat of death, poured out onto the streets in the form of art.

Never before I have seen so much thirst for life in my city, a thirst that, under the threat of death, poured out onto the streets in the form of art.
