First working day outside of Ukraine

By Olha Zahoruiko

aiToday was the first working day in another country after leaving Kharkiv, that is, after six months without work. The photo shows the view from the window at work. The most difficult question that everyone asks is - how are you? satisfied? Do you like it? Like most of those who have left, I can say that this question is confusing. Moving to another country was not my dream. I was left without a job, my son is in Ukraine, also without a job, besides, he broke his arm.
aiInitially the task was first to survive, go to a safe place, bring the psyche back to normal and start somehow living on. It turns out to be difficult to live fully, you have to turn yourself into a positive all the time, because you are cut off from your loved ones, from your past life, friends, house, you try, but sometimes it turns out badly. You get angry at yourself, then you clean yourself up and try to move on with your life.

I don't know how much longer it takes to start living to the fullest.

aiI don't know how much longer it takes to start living to the fullest. I know that obviously this will be possible after the victory, because the awareness of what is happening in your country doesn’t allow you to put your other foot completely on the ground and feel the ground. Many who left live in a semi-suspended state, and learn to live anew, with hope and faith in a speedy end to the war.
aiWhat pleases with getting a job is the opportunity be able to help relatives and the country. It doesn’t bother you whether you can handle it or not, definitely after what you have gone through, you will cope with everything. I hope that I can also enjoy my work. Let’s see.
