aiAt the beginning of March 2022, my husband, Bogdan Gennadiyovych Arsentiev, confronted me with the fact that he voluntarily mobilized.
aiHe said, "I don't want to wait for them to enter to the Dnipro."
aiI don't want to run across the spit to hide (our house is near the Dnipro River where there are long peninsulas, shoals and islets). And I don't want to sit in the basement and wait for them to find and kill us.
aiI won't be able to protect you here.
aiHe asked that I leave Ukraine so he would not worry about me. He said it's a war and anything can happen and I have to understand that...
ai
aiI still refuse to accept he's gone.

I still believe that our last date will happen
aiOn April 17, 2022, Bogdan died while performing a combat mission in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region, at that time one of the hottest spots in the war.
aiHe is the best and brightest person!
aiHe was ready to rebuild our country after victory and talked about how much would be needed to restore everything. All Bogdan's life he worked in construction, and in recent years as a foreman.
aiI will quote Yana Yanenko (her painting is also presented in the exhibition)
ai- "A person dies, but love does not."
ai- "A person dies, but love does not."
aiMy social media profiles over the past year are filled with stories of our lives which I cherish like the apple of my eye. I am very afraid to forget.
aiTo this day, my husband remains in the occupied territory. There was heavy artillery fire and it was impossible to evacuate his body.
aiI still believe that our last date will happen.
