aiHer son died in 2018. 
aiYurii "Barret" Lugovsky from  the 'Azov' unit was a true legend, the best sniper known and feared by the enemies. A bullet ended his life near Vodyane in Donetsk region. The brave warrior was only 23 years old.
aiAfter the death of her son, Natalia Lugovska decided to become a psychologist in the 'Azov' unit. She told her family that Yurii`s brothers in arms feel like her own children and she must help them.
aiWhen the full-scale invasion broke out on February 24 2022, Naliliia was working in Azov headquarters in Mariupol as a medic and psychologist. Natalia's son-in-law, Oleksiy Lastovych, was also in the blocked Mariupol. He was a border guard, and later transferred to 'Azov'. 
aiHer son-in-law died on April 21 2022. 
aiThat day Natalia also received a concussion. She came to her end a couple of weeks later in an air raid.

aiNatalia the defender was 51 years old. She is survived by her 77-year-old mother, daughter, and three grandchildren. The youngest grandson was born in Zaporizhzhia already after her death.
aiOn May 24, 2022, by presidential decree No. 367/2022, Natalia Lugovska, a junior sergeant, was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.
