Wandering in the twilight
Wandering
in the twilight
aiWhen someone close to you goes missing, you first go through many circles of hell. You fill out all the necessary forms, call everywhere, "ring all the bells."
aiAnd then comes the time of daily monotonous monitoring - searching all the missing persons resources: Telegram channels, videos and photos of captives, lists and more lists... Then the understanding comes - how many Ukrainians like you are now looking for their loved ones.
aiSame trouble, different destinies. Someone is looking for a husband - he disappeared and his wife just had a baby. Someone is looking for an older man - his grandchildren are wanting to play with him at home.
aiAnd here is a photo of a young boy, an only child for whom his mother is searching. I look at his face, count his years, and realize that he is about the same age as my eldest. Not even 20 years old yet.
The time of daily, monotonous monitoring - searching through all the missing persons resources. Same trouble, different destinies.
aiSometimes in the midst of pleas for help, you come across the message: "STOP SEARCH. Found. Alive." And then everyone congratulates the one whose loved one has been found in the abyss of obscurity.
aiSometimes the words "STOP SEARCH" are followed by: "He went to heaven. Our hero became an angel." And then the entire thread explodes - "You are not alone." "Glory to the hero."
ai"Eternal memory to your hero."
ai"Eternal memory to your hero."
aiCharitable gatherings in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are announced periodically in our search groups. People looking for relatives who have disappeared in this war often respond to these requests. In honor of their missing loved one, they donate to those who are currently defending our land.
aiWhen I see this, it gives me faith in our Ukrainian people, in our victory.
